Confidentially Yours was started by Jean Duden in 1982 in the former Mercy Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Initially providing wigs and hair care services for cancer patients, Confidentially Yours' services grew to include mastectomy products.

Feeling a Christian calling to help women maintain positive self images while battling cancer, Duden eventually moved Confidentially Yours to its present location at 1808B Round Barn Centre. There, she expanded the boutique's products and services to include a wide range of bras, lingerie, swimwear, and shapeware for women of all shapes and sizes at all stages of their lives.

As Confidentially Yours continues to expand its offerings in store and online, its mission remains constant: to help women feel positive about themselves by providing them with the best quality products and fitting services in a calm, comfortable setting.

Confidentially Yours is certified by The Board for Orthotist and Prosthetist Certification (BOC), an independent, not-for-profit agency that certifies orthotists, prosthetists, orthotic, and mastectomy fitters and accredits their facilities. It also is certified by leading manufacturers including, Amoena.
